Cynthia Sears, M.D., FIDSA, Bloomberg~Kimmel Professor of Cancer Immunotherapy, was named next Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Infectious Diseases. Dr. Sears leads the microbiome program at the Bloomberg~Kimmel Institute for Cancer Immunotherapy, studying how the “bugs” we live with contribute to cancer development and impact the immune response to cancer.
